I know cutting people out of your life, especially those you love and have shared intimate times with, can be painful, but when it comes you preserving your sanity, you have to do that. What is the gain of being in a relationship or friendship, and you are unhappy? It is better to cut them out of your life completely.

Cutting people out of your life means cutting them off physically and emotionally. It has to be complete to be effective.

 

Yes, it can be painful, but you must do that, especially for your sanity and mental health. When you cut them off, their thoughts occasionally pop into your head.

 

Anytime it helps, ensure to redirect your thoughts into something very dear to you, probably your job. And don’t fake your feeling. Allow yourself to feel the hurt, and let the hurt propel you to become a better individual.
